The Morran Book Project

The Morran Book Project began in late September 2011. Camilla Engman started the project as a tribute to her dog, Morran, who had been sick for quite some time and was not expected to be with us much longer. As submissions poured in, Camilla decided to make two books so that every artist could be included. She continues to post artwork, among other things, on the Studio Morran blog, and tributes are still being sent to her. Camilla is also posting all of the works that are in the Morran Book Project, as well as those that didn't make it into the book -- I personally submitted three pieces of art, but only one was selected for the book.

Till All the Pieces are in Place

I was contacted in early 2012 by a lady that I met through my Facebook page to do some artwork for her Facebook page called Till All the Pieces are in Place. It is a fantastic project that sells Autism Awareness items from different vendors on Facebook, and asks that they donate a percentage of their profits to Achimota Centre for Autism in her hometown of Barrie, Ontario -- or to the artist's local Autism centre.

Be Mine, Valentine Swap

The Be Mine, Valentine Swap was started in 2012 with the intention of getting participants to get creative by making their own Valentines for their swap partner. It was also a great way to meet someone new!
